From the tender age of 9 rapping in school assemblies to a 16-year-old appearing in magazines like The Face and The Fader, to an 18-year-old setting up his own record label selling CD’s hand-to- hand, Mic knows the true meaning of dream chasing.
The former UK Battle rap champion, former part-time BBC Radio presenter took an 8-year hiatus from the Music industry disillusioned with the politics of the game.
During this time he set up a video production company creating visual content for some of the UK's biggest brands, charities, and corporates. Infused and inspired by the current uncertain times, Mic Assassin is back with his haunting, cinematic Hip Hop banger, '5 Wings'.
The new shop and merch are inspired by the new single and past ideas mic has for years he now brings to life. From song concepts, lyric quotes and ideas from past visual projects it will all be reflected in creative ways and brought to life as Merchandise.
